99% of the time I use a search engine.
But lately I have been using real time search results on my phone.. for instance if I am out on the town and looking for a bar to go to, I turn on foursquare or layar.. see whats around me and what reviews it has.. and if it sounds good I ususally head there!
Mobile search is going to be huge in my opinion.
I have found the Yellow Pages online to be pretty ordinary, I only try there if I can't find what I need using Google or Bing - which is pretty rare. Yellow Pages (and all printed directories) are really on the way out in my opinion.
There will always be a market for all those people who still prefer to pick up the big yellow books rather than fire up their computer, but the numbers are only going one way from here on in.
Google. Yellow pages takes 10 minutes or more to load on my computer, and I always misplace the paper one. We had an ad in the paper one last year and got about 1 call from it, so we let it lapse this year.
I use google, TrueLocal - Search Australia's fastest growing business directory, yellowpages.
Oh. We're on Truelocal, when you search for us it doesn't come up in Google. Odd.
