What web browser are you using and why?

I myself are a true blue Firefox man as I love what it offers and does. I also use IE 8,7 and 6 and Google Chrome to do web testing in.

Our office is a mish mash of Firefox, IE and Chrome. Reality is that, over time, they will all pinch each other's best features ... and they will all look, act, feel the same.

Having said that, as a recent convert to Firefox ... IE is quite limiting in comparison.

I use Firefox, purely for the add-ons, some of teh things people have developed are amazing and really make it easier to use the internet.

If you aren't using add ons and you are using firefox you're missing out..

    Add-ons for Firefox

I have been starting to play with Chrome a bit and it is a nice, light clean browser.. and is pretty fast as well.. but I think its a bit young still.

Firefox for me, I've been using it for the last two years or so. The only add-ons that I have are the Google toolbar (mainly for the pagerank info) and the Alexa tool which shows site traffic info.

Firefox for the addons you can get, great help when developing site.
Safari for general browsing, for some reason the flash plugin doesnt work in Firefox no matter how often I reinstall it

I use Firefox, but I have set certain websites to render in IE using the IE Tab add-in.

I love the customisation in Firefox - and for me it is simply faster and more stable than IE.

I haven't looked at Chrome - but may check it out soon.

Firefox all the way. The web developer navigation is pretty useful for debuggin, checking, etc

As a web design studio, we end up using all browsers for testing (both Mac and PC). IE just has way too many bugs, and seems to lag, though we need to use it for website testing. Safaris ok, not as many bugs and its the one that's on the iPhone (sometimes we find misaligned images on this one)
Chrome is ok. But at the end of the day, you have to stay true to Firefox

    Cheers
