But a few businesses are taking it to the next level, using Twitter to arrange tweetups! While this has been happening in the US for quite a while now it seems to be relatively un heard of in Australia until now.

The idea behind a tweetup is to use twitter to organise a meetup of your followers, usually to talk about a common interest or even to promote your business.
