    Cool Can anyone recomend any good tools for SEO and Internet marketing?

    I am constantly trying to drive more traffic to my sites, however I think I have now tried all avenues and I am not seeing my ranks increase, or traffic increase.

    Is there any tools or techniques that anyone knows of that could help me improve my SEO and get more traffic to my sites?

    Hey Gerry, there are no real tools that will magically make your website a top performing SEO website, however there are some tools that you can use to help you tailor your site to be found for the keywords you want.

    I suggest you take a look at Market Samurai - its a great, I purchased it a few weeks back and have already seen an increase in traffic just by doing a few small tweaks to a number of my sites.

    Can I also suggest you look at doing something like the Thirty Day Challenge? - This is an internet marketing course, its free! and will cover everything you need to know about marketing your product and websites

    Submit your site to link directories, post your site on social networking/bookmarking sites such as Facebook, Digg and etc, have a meta description and meta tags and have original content.

    It would be great to know what you've already tried so we can see what's not working for you. I use a fair amount of different SEO techniques, though if I had to say which was best I'd go with fresh content. You should definately attach some sort of blog to your website and reguarly update this blog with fresh and unique content. Google loves unique content which will ultimately boost your PR (pagerank) which will in turn boost your ranking.

    I think you should hire overseas people to do SEO for you. You can hire people via sites like Outsource to Freelancers, IT Companies, Programmers, Web Designers from India, Russia, USA, and more - oDesk. You post a job up and people bid for your work. The freelancers have many techniques to help you increase your ranking and their hourly rate can be as low as $5.

    There are a range of sites. Try also Elance. However, unless you know how to properly spec out the job and understand what they will be doing it may be better to find a local trustworthy partner to project manage and negotiate on your behalf.

    Sure it may be more expensive. However you will have a greater chance of getting what you need completed on time and on budget.

    Also if you are looking to do some things yourself, Google has a range of free tools you can use that are very helpful in choosing the right keywords, find out what people are searching for and how your site is performing..

    Check out Google External Keyword Tool - https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
    This tool helps you find relative keywords and then gives you some very interesting stats on how often those keywords are searched bot globally and locally.

    The Google Wonder Wheel is built into its search engine now (when doing a search click show options - it will be there on the right) - The wonder wheel shows you what other keywords are relevant to you market.. this combines with the external tool can be pretty powerful.

    Google Analytics is also very cool.. check it out here - Google Analytics | Official Website

    Also, most search engines offer some webmaster tools;

    Microsoft Bings - Webmaster Center - Bing
    Googles webmaster tools - Google Webmaster Central

    I think that should get you started
