Just thought of posting in some things I've learnt when i started a business in Australia and hope everyone else contributes too!.
1. Advertisers wants what is best for you but grinds the money out of you.
2. As long as it is "services", it is hell of expensive
3. Australians are straight to the point
4. Christmas is the day/week when everyone gets lazy. Seriously lazy.
5. Government issues are really tight here. So be careful on what your business is all about.
6. Register a .com.au if you want your business to be 'accepted' by the Australian community
7. Australians are more prone to buying 100% Australian brands
8. Chocolates are awesome in Australia <- ok fine. totally unrelated
