Identifying your Clients

I was wondering in Australia..

When we ask for identification from our clients... is it okay to request for

Individual -> either a Passport No, TFN, driving license OR citizenship paper

Company -> ABN

Am i missing anything? Please help

It is occasional to ask for drivers license, but thats rare unless its from a government organisation.

Usually all we ask for is Name, Address, Number, Email.. and that is all Australians will usually give.
