    Default Underwater Hull Cleaning

    Hi everybody,

Its been a while since I posted so I thought I would let everybody know what I have been up to and at the same time let you all know I have offically launched my business - Scubaclean.

Scubaclean operates out of and services the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.
I primarily perform underwater hull cleaning to boats moored in Marina's and private birthings however also do a bit of boat maintanance in the form of sacrificial anode installation and condition reports on hulls and running gear.

I am now tied closely with the local boating community in the form of Marina approval and exposure and also with add value business's within the community and now have advertsing in all these places.

I am currently in the process of my first targeted marketing campaign which will (hopefully) start to generate more enquiry.

Everything thus far has been purely passive marketing (eg business cards, flyers etc) to test the waters and generate a bit of interest however it is now time to take the bull by the horns.

You can check out my "website" (i say that with some reluctance as it is not in tune with my branding requirements other than the logo, however it will do for a presence in the immediate future).
    Scubaclean

    Thanks guys!

    Steve

looks good, only issue I have is with your website, the logo image takes ages to load!

are you looking to have the site re-done?

Yeah the website is going to be re-done very soon, I needed to put something up as it is in my marketing material

If i lowered the resolution on the image do you think that would help?

    Hey steve,

I agree with Slade.. an ideal resolution for screen is 72dpi - your main problem is the image is a BMP file, which isn't compressed, you are best saving it as a JPG, TIFF, or PNG which are all natively compressed!

Apart from that, good concept and best of luck with the business, i'll be sure to keep you in mind when I get my yacht
