What is an entrepreneur?

"Entrepreneurship is the pursuit of opportunity without regard to resources currently controlled."

So is a trip to the racetrack but it doesn't make it right.

How is any entrepreneur supposed to make an impact without carefully considering resources? Resources, whether they are your own or somebody elses, have a massive part to play in any business venture. I understand the 'success at all costs' mentality that this phrase is aiming for but it's very badly worded.

I much prefer to believe that enterpreneurship is the pursuit of opportunity whilst manipulating the resources available.

Some things are more easy to manipulate than others. In the business world, resources are one example. On a forum, I find it's really easy to manipulate the idiotic and the underinformed.

So find a new hobby.
