    Default A Recession looming for the UK?

    I read this article a few hours a go - http://business.theage.com.au/uk-on-...0708-3bxz.html

    .. within 15 minutes of that article going to press, the GBP fell and my cash investments in the UK instantly lost about 10%!

    So do you think I should pull out my assets now and push them back to oz while I can, or ride the wave and hope that things will pick back up?

    Argh, sorry to hear that Brendan...

    I guess you'd have to look at whether or not you think it will recover and what the period of time it will recover in is...

    I tend to be slightly reactive when stuff like this happens. Although it may be worth leaving your investments there with the hope that it will recover... Personally, i'd do a 50 50 or 70 30 split and keep some there, but shift most to Aus...
