Thread: Marketing New Service

    Default Marketing New Service

We are looking at investing a large sum into a new piece of equipment that will keep routing and engraving in-house, as the amount we outsource could easily cover this cost. The company I send the work to at the moment has just changed hands, so I am hoping to pick a little extra up that may decide a change in supplier is due.

We currently run a bi-monthly enewsletter to our database which has our existing client base covered.

What are your thoughts of getting a half/full page ad in the local papers showing that we can now do this type of work for potenital clients.

    Thanks in advance.

Im looking at getting a half page ad to move some refurbished computers. Problem is I just dont know how well it would work right now.

Im waiting for the local paper to get back to me, they are slack.

I think a half page ad is a good idea, just make sure you pick the right publication, make sure you pick something that your potential customers would read, and isnt already flooded with your competitiors ads.

Flyer drops can usually work well, and even cold calling clients and letting them know about your new capabilities can be a great ice breaker.

Yes, a half-page ad is probably a good idea. However, I also agree that the publication has to be the right one.

If you've got a website, I would add a small announcement banner about it on the front page, so any past/prospective customers who visit will be aware of that as well.
