Australian hedge-fund billionaire Michael Hintze has been labelled the 'sugar daddy' of the Conservative Party by the British press.
The UK-based banker and philanthropist's donations are in the spotlight because of concerns about the influence of lobbyists within the British government following the scandal that led to last week's resignation of Defence Secretary Liam Fox.
