    Default Long Weekend?!

    Well as some of you may know I am still in the UK.. so you would think we get a holiday for the queens birthday, just like you did! But no!!

    Not even in the queens country do we get a holiday for her birthday?! What is with that?

    Anyway I hope you all had a great long weekend.. did anyone get up to anything nice?

    I have been planning for quite some time now to visit Australia. I have never been to Australia, but I know that there are lots of things to do as well as many places to see like : Queensland, NSW, Victoria, Northern Territory, Tasmania and more.

    I know this is an old thread but the Queen actually has two birthdays. An official birthday and an actual birthday. The official birthday is essentially about sovereignty. Top of my head here but I think her actual birthday is on April 21st. Her official birthday usually falls on a Saturday in June.

    Like everything else over here, we're not allowed to celebrate too much. It is, indeed, a sad state of affairs.
