Thread: Hi from Taiwan

    Default Hi from Taiwan

Hi... I'm a scientist by training (a "recent" graduate, I might add), a salesman by profession, and an entrepreneur in spirit. I'm an employee now, but I'm thinking about possible businesses I can start in Taiwan... I want to get out of the "employee" mentality & culture. Any suggestions on business ideas welcomed! (If it's a business that needs physical presence, obviously I won't compete with you in Australia... )

If anyone needs someone to help out in Taiwan, just let me know.

    Cheers,
    Enoch

    Hi Enoch
    Welcome to the forum!

Have you thought of starting a web based business? As you are in Taiwan I'm sure you could contact local wholesalers and sell their products online or on ebay.

Thats just my suggestion for the day

    Good luck!

    Steve

    Great idea steve!!!

Enoch, I would suggest trying to identify a niche or an area that your community is lacking... whether it be in your neighbourhood, or your network of colleagues etc.

Let us know how you go.

    Cheers

    Welcome enochko!

Have you thought of focusing in on maybe something to do with what you are studying? Maybe a science based website? or selling products related to your field online?

I personally think its always good to focus on a business in a market that you are truly passionate about, that way you never get bored and you always enjoy what you are doing.

What is it you studied in science?
