Whats this all about?
As part of our recognition to our members and making sure everyone gets the best from this forum, we have implemented an advertising network that allows all our members to advertise their business across these forums for free!

But why would I want to advertise on AussieTycoon?

How can I put an Ad up for Free?
Yep, that's right.. free! Basically what you need to do is earn Ad Credits on the forum, then you pay us with those Ad Credits in exchange for advertising space.. simple!

Each registered member gets given some ad credits to start with when they join the forum, you can see this on the left <-- under my profile details.

These Ad Credits increase the more activity you have on the forum.

It all sounds great, so how do you earn Ad Credits?
Earning credits is easy, all you need to be is an active member! You can earn points by doing some of the following;

· Start new threads
· Reply to posts
· Refer Friends
· Participate in Polls
· Bonus points for great posts!

Basically the more active you are on the forum, the more Ad Credits you earn, we want to reward our members for making sure we have a great community!


Great, so now you have credits, how do you buy Advertising Space?

The text links you can see to the right of the forum underneath 'Site Sponsors' these links are site wide, they show up on every single post, forum listing, thread etc.. We have 2 spaces open to members and these can be any website (within reason) you own, apart from affiliate advertising, or other advertising networks.

* A text link costs 800 Ad Credits and lasts for 1 month.

The other 3 ads you see are reserved for Paid Listings (click here to learn about how to buy an Advertising space)

When you are ready to pay some Ad Credits for advertising, you need to pay me - AussieTycoon, this is very easy;

- Underneath my name on the left you will see 'Ad Credits' and a number.
- Click the number
- Type in 800 into the amount of credits
- Write your business name in the option note section
- Click Submit

It really is that easy!

What will happen then is we will receive the credits and contact you to confirm the details, then set you advertisement up on the site.. cool huh?

All sounds very easy, what happens after the month?
At the end of the month, we will contact you to see if you want to continue, and if you do request that you pay the same amount of credits again to keep your ad there.

And that’s it!

Are there any limitations on the type of business you can advertise, or is it totally free-for-all?

It is at the decision of our team, ideally it is suited to SME's and websites owners. We will not accept any affiliate or external advertising cpc type links, nor anything we deem unsuitable, such as porn or anything illegal or unsuitable to minors.

We just want to advertise good, honest businesses!

You do need to be a bit more specific when you're offering free advertising space y'know ... might want to edit the original post to reflect this. Looks like I won't be using any of those ad credits here!
