do you do article marketing for backlinks,and how good is it for you

I have submitted over 150 articles to directories, it has benefits of both seo (backlinks), and general traffic.

I love it because it helps position me as an expert on my subject (time management) and sends traffic.

On Ezine articles I have had around 55,000 views (from 30 articles), and of that 17% have followed my link to my website

Thats almost 10,000 people who have come to my website from ezine, and they see me as an expert.

And because they see me as an expert, they are much more likely to buy my product.

Last time I checked, the conversion rate of my traffic from Ezine Articles was 9.5%, which is well above normal!

And it is only this high because they see me as an expert thanks to my articles.

Anyway that leads to 950 sales, of a product worth $97

So the gross income from just writing articles for ezine articles (this does not include the other 120 articles at different directories) is around $92,000!!!!

And that was from 30 articles I wrote and put on ezine articles!

If you are not using article marketing you are missing out on alot!

If it's important for your business to get backlinks then is article marketing right choice. My conversion rate is small but I get a lot of backlinks and it affects the improvement of ranking on Google.

I was looking into this too recently but decided that I did not want to join anything with a monthly fee because I would probably not use it enough to make it worthwhile for me.

At about the same time I came across (almost by accident) a website offering the same article marketing for backlinks service but for free; the name of the service is Free Traffic Service (FTS). The only difference is that it works on a smaller scale - you can only submit to a smaller number of blogs each time you submit an article. It was recently in what they called a' beta test mode' and is now more open to the public. They have announced a paid membership version will be available soon with more bells and whistles but say that the free version will still be available. This might be true but just in case I recommend that people sign up now while they still offer the free membership in case they stop letting people join. I will offer the link below.
