Yeah I agree you need to engage a professional to sort your logo out. 99 designs is a great place to start, and you can get it done really cheap.

A bit off-topic, but ...
IMO, 99% of logos done with help of crowdsourcing sites are crap. Just think about, will good and experienced designer take part in that lottery? They are loaded with paid job and if not has better things to do. There are only rookies here, who need to fill up their portfolio.
Yes, there is some small chance to get good logo, but a pretty miserable. Quantity doesn't meen quality, plus value your time investment to review that 50 poor logos trying to find a pearl in the pile of bullshit.
I would better spend that several hundred bucks to one more experienced designer. If you can not afford local, look offshore.

I disagree.
I know a number of people who've used 99designs to get their logo's done and the end result was fantastic.
Yes there are a lot of people with less experience who are trying fill their folios, BUT a lot of those people are very talented students or recent graduates who are willing to give your designs a good hard go for a very small fee which you as the customer can set yourself!
You'll likely get a lot of very good submissions, you can give feedback on the development of the project and then award the fee to the one you like the best.
Go to the site and look at other previous and existing logo projects. You can look at all of the potential submissions the project got, and I think you'll be surprised at the quality of some of them.
I just noshed up my own logo for the latest project. It looks kinda pretty
I had people do me a few logos of their own but they just looked wrong, the one I have now is really simple and suits. It is just 3 smiley faces of different sizes.
If you like the logo it doesn't mean that the logo is good.

Maybe not, but it really suits the site and expresses what it is about *perfectly*, and I'm going to be paying through the nose for some aspects of the site enough as is without coughing up for a graphic designer too. Smiley faces are easy to draw too, which helps
Some of the icons on the site I don't like though, but I'll fix those up later.
HWT's logo is my avatar. Its supposed to be a mountain, a lake and some hidden water. We just stole the idea from the local geography and ran it through some rendering software, I use the plain BW one for our stationery.
Edit: here's the smiley faces. They're just so *cute*![]()

please don't be disheartened from their own point of views towards your logo... and please forgive me, I do agree to all their comments that you need to improve your logo especially you are offering related to designs. Your logo should have a strong and quality image so your prospect clients get attracted to it and believe that you are indeed capable for the said job. :-)
Yep I agree, logo tournament or something similar is the way to go.
You don't get a second chance to make a good first impression and the logo is key to providing some insight as to your brand and what you stand for.
dont sell your self short a logo like that will only atrack the cheapies think of it as up market bricks and mortar (it is not face to face so your logo is it )
Logo should be able to represent a brief picture about business and should contain the object and services of business in miniature version.
