    Default Upgrading Phones

We will be upgrading mobile phones in June when the contract is up and thinking of the HTC HD2 as it has office mobile on it which would be ideal for onsite quoting for me.

Was hoping someone else had this phone or knew of someone and what they thought of it.

Comparing it to the iPhone, it seems alot better. Expandable memory, bluetooth file transfer and is a touch screen.

I was going to get the iPhone and was told that I need iTunes to transfer images since Apple cut out bluetooth file transfers.

Is anyone able to verify this?

    Hey Justin,

I have a HTC Hero, its based on the Google Android operating system and its a pretty cool phone!

I have open office on it so I am able to open most office documents pretty easily.

The Android phones are really ticking it to the iphones now, they are fully open source which means heaps of cool stuff gets written for them, and you dont need to be tied into apple at all - i.e; itunes.

HTC have a whole range of android phones coming out over the next few months, I recommend checking them out!

Brendan - good info. We have been Blackberry (Storm) based and are also looking to other option. Storm is too gimmicky and sensitive.

Bennett - let me be polite. In Australia, a 'cell' is a place we put d-heads. And a 'reverse cell' may well be the position you will be forced to assume by your fellow inmates when you keep spamming this Forum.

I have friends that have HTC's and iPhones and I think both are quite good. I would avoid WinMo phones.

Experience has shown me that Apple stores are good for advice as well as Telstra shops so maybe you could go into both and spend some time playing with the phones and grill their sales people on all the things you'd like to be doing with them.
