Startup costs?
Hi Everyone,
I am looking to start a business in 6-12months, so I have started to write a business plan to predict my start up costs and how much money I need to get together to get this thing off the ground.
If we take my actual service out of the equation, what would be my initial start up costs I would need to consider when putting together a budget.. what sort of items do I need to budget for?

There are many different things that may or may not be relevant to you that will add to startup costs but here's a few you should get more info on
Registration of Business Name
Setting up appropriate structure (Trust, Pty Ltd etc... - talk to an accountant)
Setting up Bank Accounts
Company Credit Card and or Overdraft Facility
Merchant Account (for accepting CC payments)
Deposit required for premises renting (if not home based)
Insurance
Workers Comp
Equipment (ie computers, cash register, software needed etc...)
Business Cards and other marketing costs (flyers, website etc..)
