Apple iPad has been released

Well today was the day when all the hype came to head, Apple have showed off the iPad and what it can do.

I think it's a great tool for business and another Anti Social tool for people that have bad people skills and internet addictions.

I reckon it will be a great bridge between a smartphone and a laptop. Really looking forward to it's release!

The features are pretty cool, but somehow the name 'iPad' doesn't sound right to me. It's kind of weird. We'll see how the product fairs for Apple fans.

Yea I thought the same.. but when you think about their other products..

iPod.
iPhone.

Now iPad.. I guess it works well and we will all get used to it and it will eventually become a word in the English dictionary just like iPod

I'll be following with IPad with great interest, i've just been organising my book to be available on the kindle, so the IPad will become another market to look at getting books onto.

Although I am concerned about its LCD screen, I know my Iphone in bright sunlight is almost useless. So it will be interesting to watch

The iPad has finally landed in the UK. The iPad is also smooth and transportable, sports a deliberately immediate processor and dines on battery power with the craving of a strung-out celebrity ingénue in affecting suffering. That was really great device.

Well I have an iPad now and can say it is awesome. One area it is particularly useful is networking. Apart from the fact that everyone sees it and wants to come and talk to me about it it is really good for demonstrating things. I often end up emailing people on the spot little bit's of advice regarding what we are talking about (Websites to visit etc) I think it's better than giving a business card as it is useful and waiting in their inbox for them.
