Hello,

This is my first post, My business is LEDWorld we are looking to sell solar powered LED lighting for outdoor use.

Our website is not yet finished yet it is getting there - opinions and tips please? LED WORLD ---LED Displays, Solar LED Lights, Flashing T-Shirts, Video Glasses (Powered by CubeCart) (http://www.ledworld.com.au)

So the post tittle: Door to Door Sales, (D2DS)

Who here has had experience in the (D2DS) field?

We are looking to find a sales man or women which would include purely commission sale income.

Where would we go about finding such a person?

The idea would be to sell some products online through our online shop, when up and running as well as (D2DS)

I have had no experience in (D2DS) i would think that a really slick/well designed folder of product, including showing the customer products in person (depending on size of product as some are very large.)

We can get a portable eftpos machine for $52 a month which would make payment easy for the customer.

So my question is: Where do i find someone who has done (D2DS) and someone i can trust representing the business as well as with the products and eftpos machine?

To be perfectly honest with you, after looking at the stock on your website I don't really think you're product line is suited for door to door sales especially with so few products. In my opinion, I think you would gain the best return by improving the look and feel of your current website and perhaps run a campaign on Google Adwords or something similar to establish your business as the leading LED supplier.

As for "Where do i find someone who has done (D2DS) and someone i can trust representing the business" to me that screams 'do it yourself.' As a (fairly) new business, you cannot afford any additional expenses such as hiring an employee on a commission based salary and the best bet would be to do it yourself. You'd be able to meet your potential future clients, keep all the revenue and you wouldn't have any trust issues.

Either way, good luck :)
