Hi Everyone
My name is Rob and as you are probably aware, there are countless free classified directories floating around the Interwebs (sic).
So you probably be asking yourself "Why would he go and add yet another one?" - And its simple. It is not just a normal classified directory in one sense. We have a built in forum (that needs some new categories - and people). We are community orientated and we are in it for the long haul.
I would love it if everyone would pop over there and support the new website (its only been up or two or three weeks) and help spread the word about http://www.roundaz.com
And remember - we are always open for suggestions and criticisms.
I look forward to hearing more about everyone and becoming an active member here at AussieTycoon

Hey Roundaz.
Looks interesting.. my first criticism would be that adsense banner ad that you have prominently at the top, it really takes my attention away from the rest of the site and makes me want to close the browser as it looks like its just an adsense/parked type page.
I would remove that and just have the google search at the top and then all the categories underneath. You may want to put an Adsense ad on the right underneath the news, I think it would fit well there.
I would probably have a small description of what the site is about - why people would use your site and why it is different to other and maybe a prominent button saying 'list your classified for free'.. as the post ad link is a little confusing.
I can see what you are trying to do with it, and I think with some tweaking and SEO you may be able to do it.
Change the title from just Home to 100% Free Classifieds, Personals, Careers, Jobs, Merchandise .. etc.. just so its much more Search Engine Friendly.

Thanks Brendan
I have changed the title from Home to Roundaz.com - 100%.... - I am going to remove the Adbrite advertising at the top of the page even though I am happy using the Adbrite Network and the revenue it has generated over my two websites.
I am considering placing the ad below (via Adsense which I have but don't use) what is now the poll, on the right hand side as you suggested.
Thanks for the constructive criticism and suggestions.

Site looks ok, the content seems ok, but I am not sure about the placement of things, the title or the logo.. logo is very hard to read, and the same with the post your font here button.. very hard to read.
If it was me personally, I would have a more prominent logo sitting on the left, and on the right a 'button' that looks completely different to the logo mentioning the free listing.
Also, the box the search bar is in stretches across the whole top of the screen.. is that necessary? Can you put it directly above the listings - it would be much better suited there.
What does roundaz mean by the way?

Hi Again
I am taking it slowly - ie, the advice that I am being given.
I have relocated the search feature (and this will be replaced by the built-in search fetaure when I purchase the new script).
Logo redesign will come shortly (and any ideas/designs would be great) as well as its relocation as suggested. I am trying to design a new 'Post Your Ad' button, but my design skills are not the greatest.
So beer (yes that is B.E.E.R) with me as I try to iron out all the wrinkles and let me know what you think.
