Hi all! I'm really happy and excited to have found this forum.

My name is Mick and I'm living and working in Seoul, Korea. I'm a Melbourne boy and next year planning on relocating to the Gold Coast.

Currently I'm CEO of a small software and game development company in Korea called Fun Burger. We have made some unique technology that takes a photo of your face and turns it into a realistic 3-D model!

We're aiming this towards fashion clients who want to use our tech as a plugin for the websitse so people can see what they realistically look like wearing clothes before ordering them online. We're pretty excited by the huge potential of this product and already have a number of major fashion companies interested.

If you have an iPhone or iPod Touch you can download it from the app store for free here (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=321510472&mt=8)

As well as that cool tech we also make some games and I'm partnering with a company in China to make some games for a platform that has 100,000,000 subscribers, fun times :)

When I come back to Aus I'd like to network with pretty much anyone, mainly in the Southern Queensland area, but Australia wide is also cool. So drop me a line any time. My email is mick@funburger.com and my linkedin profile is here (http://www.linkedin.com/in/micksolomons)

Besides my working life my other passions are health, fitness and cooking. I'm going to get involved in some interesting ideas in those industries over the next year, I spend around 2 hours a day researching health and fitness and have helped a number of people lose weight and become more healthy.

Have a great day!

Brendan

Hey Mick, Welcome to AT! Your iphone app sounds great and when I get a chance I will certainly download it and give it a test.

When you move back to oz will you continue to work with funburger, or plan on going out on your own?

Would be interested to hear what some of your other ideas are.

Hey Brendan,

Thanks for the kind words. I will continue to run Funburger from Australia although I'll be looking for someone to manage the business on a day to day basis.

My newest venture is a weight loss E-Book and website - So-Simple-Diet - Home (http://www.so-simple-diet.com).

My plans are to help people lose weight and become more healthy (I lost 20kgs last year effortlessly, it just came down to studying what foods makes people fat) and also experiment with making healthy, tasty, non-fattening snacks and maybe dabble in motivational coaching and stress relief techniques.

I'll still keep working making games as its a great cash cow and I really enjoy it.

If you're interested to chat further you can e-mail me at mick@so-simple-diet.com

Hey Mick,

What are the main fundamentals of your diet?

Hey RevoPT,

No processed food, just good whole foods. Everyone is different so the diet isn't a one shoe fits all, some people do well on high protein / fat while others do better with more light foods. But the one common thing is no processed food and drinks, well that's a good start anyway :)

I'm also making a lot of traditional fermented foods like kimchi, fermented dairy (kefir, cottage cheeses, cream cheeses). And soon to be launching my Personal Training and Nutrition Coaching. Are you a personal trainer?

Hey,
Yeah I run a personal training business based in Melbourne.
How do you assess the requirements of your customers and find out what is the best way to go?

For most people I just get them to go natural (non-processed) and then we determine their right macro ratio by trial and error. I also use some other tools like Metabolic Typing and Intermittent Fasting for people who have health problems or really have trouble losing fat.

Are you interested in offering nutrition services to your clients?

We normally refer on our customers for nutritional coaching if they require specialist help.

Where do you operate from?

Annyong hasaeyo Mick and welcome to AT. I lived in Korea for a few years in the early 2000s. Loved it and miss it terribly. I went back last year for a three week visit. I'm pretty sure I came across your business when I was researching mobile phone content about 3-4 years ago. Have you been operating for at least that long? We were looking at doing English language lessons on mobiles for the Korean market, leveraging from some comics and comic characters we were also developing, so we were looking at developers out there.

When are planning to be back in Australia?
