Hi all. GREAT idea for a forum, well done!

Let me introduce myself; My name is Ben Smith. I'm a very talented one-man IT solution.

If you are not confident technically, please feel free to contact me to discuss ANY IT requirements you may have as there's a good chance I have the skills to help you out.

I've been involved in so many different projects, it's difficult to summarise without boring you entirely, but I'll try! ;)

- You need email, websites, software development, network, document repositories, client databases, file sharing and printer sharing? No problem.
- Linux servers, VPS, Windows Servers, DNS and Internet? Easy.
- Need a website/software solution? I have lots of development experience with Java, Perl, PHP and VB; I'm an ex-DBA so know Oracle and MySQL backwards.
- Project Management; I've managed complex software development with Indian, Canadian and US teams.
- Complete office network fit-outs for up to 40 employees. The entire life-cycle from desktop/laptop to equipment racks and backup solutions. *On my own*.
- Lots of Internet/start-up experience; Sensis, Netspace Online Systems, Looksmart, MMPG.
- Excellent communication skills. Patient, driven and enthusiastic.

But most important of all, I LOVE the excitement of being involved in small business and I LOVE doing whatever it takes to make a business successful. No idea too small or too crazy. Very flexible; if I think you have a great business idea, we can discuss deferred payment. If your start-up is particularly exciting I would consider relocation.

Please contact me for my CV.

Regards,

Ben Smith
