Need Business Advices

I must thanks Mr. Ayden before posting some things on this blog\forum. I was searching some business minded people and ideas on the internet to start new business here in Sydney so at the same time; I found an ad of looking for business partner posting by Ayden. This is my fortunate to reach among all of you. I hope you all nice people will advice me for my business mined mine to go a head.

I am Mr. John Gokul from Mountain Everest country Nepal. In fact, I migrate to Australia.

Since, 1996 I have started my own business in Nepal with Trekking and Travel Company; I sold my company in 2000 and start Hotel business again. I sold my hotel in 2003 and I start searching new business in Nepal and finally I established a solar and alternative energy company named Swogun energy [P] Ltd. http://www.swogun.org.np/swogun_energy.htm (http://www.swogun.org.np/swogun_energy.htm) and still I am running this company in Nepal. Along with this company I am into social work too www.swogun.org.np (http://www.swogun.org.np/) I am doing very well with this business in Nepal.

When I migrate here, I came here with big hope to start a small scale business in Australia but I am lost some where here in Australia. So, internet and this kind of such a key marked blog is the only one option remind for me to search business people and business advices. Still, I am not sure I will able to find them or not but I am trying hard.

I always fallow one things “if you really want! You will get it” so I am on.

I would like to request to all of you who read this page, please help rescue me.

I have a lot of things to share but you know its impossible share everything’s here.

At last but not the list, mail me and help me please.

To be honest, if you plan on being a commercial printer and you can't answer those questions yourself, and you don't have significant experience with the relevant software, you might want to wait a bit and learn some more about the industry before deciding to jump in.

It is a little hard to suggest how to help you.
Have you come to Australia with the funds available since selling your business?
If you have funds available you are at least in a position to consider businesses.
IF you have no funds that will make it very hard.

What is your expertise?
What did you do within the previous business?
Do you have connections with business people in Nepal who could connect you with others in Australia to help you?

For my response I will assume you have funds from the sale of your business and you are in a position to consider buying a business or funding the start-up of one.

I would suggest you make a list of all the skills you have.
Everything from "great cook" to "very good with people" to "passionate about the environment"... make a big list...
Then start putting the list together in groups where "great cook" might fit with "love coffee" or "can grow the best tomatoes"... and when you start seeing a list of similar skills growing, you can at least see what it is you are good at, what you are passionate about and what skills you have.

Then, You can start narrowing down what businesses would require all the skills and passion you have identified for example, if you are a great cook and love coffee and can grow the best tomatoes, you might want to consider a cafe, or a sandwich trailer, or an organic fruit and veg shop...

I know these examples are very basic, but I hope they make the point.

Consider franchises, and do your due diligence.
Make sure you know if there is good traffic or large coverage so you have a good territory with a lot of potential customers.

These are just a few ideas.
Maybe some of them might help.
