Well the Christmas/New Year period has finally quietened down, so now I can get stuck into posting some new content here.

I'm originally from Perth but have been working in Ottawa (Canada) for the past year. I would like to say all my experiences have been good but I've found that Canadians can be very frustrating. They are so against being related to anything American that they have failed to establish an identity for themselves, and this even reflects in their business practices. I've come across some people with some really great ideas, but no drive or ambition to do what it takes to make them work.

On the plus side, the location of Ottawa is fantastic. I'm close to Toronto, New York, Chicago and Boston, which has been awesome for getting my website 0Day Exchange - Research on Demand (http://www.0dayexchange.com) off the ground and enjoying early success with it.

So in conclusion...Aussies looking to work overseas, I would only recommend coming here if you're an extremely patient person (which I'm not), otherwise London and the USA are still the greatest from both a personal and business perspective.

Hey mate, cheers for the update.. Interesting view on Canada.. what made you move over there in the first place?

I'm in London as you know, and the work ethic here can be frustrating, as some people are really stuck in their ways.. and think that the world owes them something.. then you have the complete opposite where they are so ambitous, that wealth just comes to them.. I like those people :)

Good to hear your site is kicking along.. are you planning on moving that to a paid host?
