I've just joined up. I'm a direct response copywriter and I'm glad to see an Aussie business forum that seems to be getting off the ground.

I hope to keep an eye on how things are progressing around here and throw in some advice where I think I can help and post some articles from time to time.

I've also got a blog up and running which I post to every Monday evening. Its a bit different to other blogs because I actually aim to provide real content and to teach people. Most of the blogs I find on marketing are usually anywhere near as rich in content and my aim was for people to learn something from it.

Brendan, I think it was you who guided me here! I saw the reference on your Somersoft account.

I've been writing seriously for about a year and a half, and amazingly my biggest challenge is people giving me urgent jobs to do when I'm working on other people's jobs. Oh, and the odd slow payer, although I've made a few changes lately to fix that.

I dont have a specific niche that I write copy for. In the last few weeks alone I've gone from child care to mortgage brokerage to weight loss and making money online. Having said that, a couple of bigger clients are in the health/weight loss and online business markets.

I write articles each week for my blog, and they're on writing more effective advertisements for your business. I'll be posting some of them on here.
