If you have 50k to start a business?

I am hoping to go into business in about 12 months time, I will have 50k to spend to get me started.. I am open to anything, willing to work hard and learn new things.. want to pocket about 100k a year.. :)

Any ideas on the best route to go down, franchise maybe?
