Anyone buying Properties in oz still?

So, with the current market conditions, is anyone buying property at all? Costs to buy are low, prices are low.. and potentially some bargains to be had.

Are they real bargains, or is the real crash yet to come?

Government certainly wants more people buying houses.

First home owners grant just doubled or tripled, for existing and new properties, respectively.

Like you hinted in one of your other posts today though, getting finance might be a little more difficult in the aftermath of all this...

Yep! I just bought another house last week :)

The value was quite good, it was originally listed about 6 months ago and didn't sell due to the uncertain market, so we put in a bargain offer and it was received.

Moved in yesterday :P
