AMEX and Airports.....

I occasionally travel interstate, and have a corporate AMEX card.

The biggest, biggest issue I have is that food vendors at major airports

1. do not take cc's full stop

OR

2. do not take AMEX

It really gives me the irrits as I have to then go thru a complex expense recovery procedure back at my office....

I agree! I really dont understand why companies primarily give out amex to staff when they are rarely accepted.

Its especially frustrating for internet shopping, most online shops do not accept amex either, its a real pain.

Why is it that company cards are usually amex.. anyone know?
