Hello all!

and no, i dont really sell sea shells. I just ran out of new 'Hie im new here' greetings. ;)

I am obviously new here. and also pretty new to the business industry. After years of fiddling around with many types of investment and other income generating venue i've finally found a track i want to follow.

So here i am starting my footprint in the business networking world.

Oh, I've also recently started a new website called OurFinanceBlogs (http://www.ourfinanceblogs.com). I'm a big fan of finance blogs and would really like to see a booming aussie finance blogging scene. Blogs are one of the best marketing solutions around. IMHO. Just look at the many internet marketer around that started with a blog.

Alright, i can go on and on about this but let's leave that for another day. Today, i just want to say hie! :D

Cheers
Debbie

Hey Debbie,

Welcome ot the forums, your blog looks great.

So what are some of the paths you have take that have helped you make your decision to focus on Finance Blogging as a way to generate wealth? What else have you tried?

Glad to have you on board, look forward to hearing more from you

Brendan

Starting this site is not really my intended wealth generation avenue. I guess i could say it's a start to something bigger down the track. What i hope to gain however are networks and experience to manage.
I didnt hail from a business background and did something totally off the track in uni. However, i've always been interested in business and anything that helps to generate more income basically. So i've dabbled in shares, (specs and blue chips), picked up some charting/trading knowledge along the way, studied/observed the property market (but havent actually own one... yet) and read a bunch of books that guided me to what i ultimately want to do.. start my own business.
Like i've said, i love reading blogs and what better way than to focus on what we love? ;)
I see alot of potential in blogs. Marketing tools for small business to get more 'personal' with their clients. What better way to market your brand than to articulate your services/products/company visions from a day to day basis to prospective clients that may stumbled upon your site.
