Starting a Business Directory

There seems to be a big market for this especially if you keep things local. Does anybody have any website recommendations as to the best business directories in Australia so I could have a look at them or suggestion for software I could use that makes building them easier?

Thank you Lance. Some good sites for me to get some ideas from. Looking at one or two of them I would imagine it wouldn't be too hard to come up with something better. One of them is even suspended!

If you're going to create your own, keep things locally geo-targetted and ensure that your website has a solid structure that works for your clients and your visitors.

Build a blog or content information directory in the background for optimisation purposes and make use of maps (plenty of plug-ins including a Google Maps option available) so land-based businesses can be located with ease.
