Hey guys, Whats are the costs etc involved in shipping pallets.
Im starting to move bulk equipment and large servers by pallet, so I need to get the low down on how it all works. Is it more expensive etc.
Thanks.
Crackers,
Are you moving things interstate or locally?
I'd suggest contacting a local courier service and talking to their sales reps as to what rates they can put you on etc. It is cheeper to ship a wrapped pallet, than a broken pallet (ease of movement etc).
Negotiate between the different courier companies and you'll eventually get a good rate....
you could try: Direct freight express, Budget couriers and......... do a search ;-)
Also, if you are looking to buy pallets, I wouldn't bother buying new CHEP pallets or anything, go second hand hardwood pallets. (I've got some sydney details somewhere....)

I get aluminum pallets for free from my mates work.
I will shrink wrap them up so that should work well. Thanks for the tips. I shall call them
They will be going interstate as well.
