I have a domain that I have held for about 4 months and someone has asked me to get it valued as they want to buy it from me.
The asked me to find someone that does independent domain appraisals. Since I have never done this before can someone point me in the right direction or let me know what I need to do. :)
I'd sell it for $1million dollars!
Did a quick google search and there a quite a few valuation companies out there for .com's
hehe

Look on afternic. The bulk of sites sell for < $1000, with the occasional nutter trying to get $25,000 for theirs. I've been offered $1000 for domains I've held a few times in the past, it seems to be a good number. If its a fantastic domain, maybe $5000. A domain is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay, and if the same domain but as a .net not .com is free, yours is worthless *unless* the .net version is popular or gaining popularlity and they require the .com so they don't lose business, then your domain may be worth a lot more (or their lawyers will take it off you).

How is they value the domain though, is there any way that I can add value to the domain by sending traffic to it?
