Would you like to earn 10% of what I earn?

Hello everybody,
I have been going And thinking the last few days about how I can reward people who refer me and my business to new clients.
Me and my wife came to the conclusion that if we offered 10% of the total invoice to the referee then that would be pretty fair Right?

so let's take for example this:
if your friend needs a new website, you recommend us to your friend, and your friend mentions your name/referral code when paying their invoice.
once the invoice is paid then you get to 10% from that invoice
so if their website cost $2000 then you would get $200.

what do you think doesn't sound like a good idea?
Would you use it?

I use referrals and rewards on a regular basis. It's a system that has helped me grow as a business because the leads generated are highly qualified. Friends and business associates won't provide information randomly and will only recommend your services if their contact needs that service badly, or they themselves have been highly impressed with your services in the past.
