um, About me..
I live in a beautiful part of Tasmania, (Sheffield)

I am a classic entrepreneur i guess, normally have 5-6 jobs on the go at once. I own a bit over 1000 domains and websites and make a lot just doing that. Im also an inventor and am a pretty good SEO. My real job.

i was winning the seo world championship last year, and i guess the highest ranked Australian.

other than that, i hope everyone has as much success in every venture as possible.

Hi guys, thanks, good to see im not the only one still working after 5am,

a lot of my domains (800+) are parked. its a great passive income stream,
I test with dot.info's see whats ranking and making the money. Then buy up every available TLD i can, wait 6 months and sell the low perfoming info's, and start again.

other stuff,
Tonight i put up www.ipaynow.info (http://www.ipaynow.info) back up as a multi payment gateway, paypal moneybookers exchange, that sort of thing, I was just behind paypal last year. but i parked it. traffic was under a million, so i need to get it going again. I will fix it up so it "looks" modern this week, then get it viral. and keep it as a money exchange. Probably set up an auction site and use it as the payment gateway,

Another new one, and this is really rocking "already" www.tycoon.net.au (http://www.tycoon.net.au) it is ranking its head off against some serious websites. and getting blasted with traffic.
seriously,I only just got my webalizer stats, 200 uniques in the first day and i still have a few hours left, Cool huh

on Google "Domain Name Tycoon"-"Marketing Tycoon" "Internet Tycoon" etc and i am of course targeting "Media Tycoon" and a few more traditional phrases next, I normally go after soft targets first, get rank, then expand. Thats honestly after being online for under 36 hours, too. with a brand new site.

um, I was winning the SEO world championship last year. it ran for 3 months. I fell into the top 30. not by choice, i was compeating against whole teams from other countries. and some of them cheat,,, Now i just do it for myself and a few clients.

at the moment, Im buying up 3 letter dot.com.au and 2 character dot.net.au
the Australian domain industry is open for trade in 2 days time, and i should be there with bells on. You guys should to, I have 8% of the Australian double vowel market. and there are under 90 domains left to reg, once they all go,, wooo hoooo $$$

i just added an AT link too, so hopefully i can send a bit of traffic this way.

Welcome to AT, Seems like you are doing well in the online world.

I'm interested find out more about how the whole buying of domains is profitable for you? I've often thought of doing so but haven't commited the time to sit down and look at it etc.

Where to start, Seach engines are being updated daily, so things change, on google if you search 1.2.3 you get 1.2.3 in order untill they run out then 1.3.2 may be the next cab off the rank. so keep it logical

msn "used" to be 1.2.3 = 3.2.1 -2.3.1 but they are now as of today, very type specific and proximity seem to be there most important thing.

To rank on yahoo.com, they go for the domain name. And, the URL.
So, for www.aussietycoon.com (http://www.aussietycoon.com), try expanding your keywords, aussie tycoon is at no1 obviously, aus tycoon isnt, aust tycoon, australian tycoon etc, arnt either. just by me adding it in the forum will help with a bit of keyword saturation, but up in <meta> is the most important. or down in the footer,, some keyword rich urls,

"hyperthetical only". say you go?

in an area that is not saturated, thanks google,, :p

then you really should see if it is actually being searched.
google trends, wordtracker, hotwords.com, etc

another easy thing to do!
add some typos..
Australain is one i do all the time,
entrepreneur is one of the hardest words i know how to spell.
that sort of thing,

O just noticed,,, take the " , " out of your title you are 2 characters short of getting businesses in, better to change businesses to Business. and get the lot in,

Sorry i know this isnt a market place or anything, but as of today,,, we can trade dot.com.au's and i listed the first one in the WORLD at 9 seconds past the hour.

I also became a member of the domain name owners association, one of a few hundred worldwide.. cool huh?
