I wouldn't buy ad space there personally - I do buy ad space and I get maybe 300-500 visitors a day from the ads I buy (the site I buy them from has several million visitors a month). I'm also working on an ad network myself. When your pages each get ~1M views a day and I know I will get a few 1000 visitors I might think about it, but the site of mine that I advertise is totally city non-specific so I'd probably still pass.

You might need to reduce the width of the website also use text instead of images.

Sounds somewhat similar to a concept a friend of mine developed called CBD online. It ran out of cash in 2004. Perhaps the timing is better now
