You probably would have heard about Magnetic Sponsoring and how, in only a few years, it has revolutionized the way in which we market both online and offline.
I must say that I was sceptical about the potential effectiveness of Magnetic Sponsoring before I signed up. I had heard that it was the most effective marketing training available and since I had 10 years experience in sales and marketing, I thought that I would find out for myself.

Before we go into that, we must first look at the massive change in the market.
Nowadays, we are constantly being bombarded by advertising in one form or another. They’ll try anything to get you to buy their product. One company I was recently approached by in my local shopping centre had resorted to using pretty girls on roller-skates to promote their product.
Nice touch, but rather than feeling like a valued customer, I felt I was being manipulated through the use of pretty girls. I certainly didn’t feel any attachment to the company. As well, the product could obviously not stand on it’s own merits. I fact, I don’t even remember what product they were promoting. Epic fail as far as I’m concerned.
We are ever more aware of such things as built-in obsolescence and outsourcing of manufacturing. In many cases, it is cheaper for a company to ship their raw materials to another country for manufacture and then ship them back for sale, than it is to manufacture the product in their own country. We won’t just buy any old thing these days, we want to make sure that we are getting our money’s worth. I will always go back to a trusted source, even if it costs me more, to know that I’m being treated as a real person and that I am buying quality.
I wrote earlier in this article that Magnetic Sponsoring has revolutionised the way in which we market. That doesn’t mean that it has developed any new, plastic wrapped, fast sell, outsourced manufacturing way of doing things, It is in fact, the complete opposite.
