Hi Everyone,

We are establishing a new coffee brand and we will be opening a new branded store concept in Melbourne, then branch into an online wholesale and online retail business, and we have an opportunity for an investor to participate in its development. This is a ground level opportunity, as we have plan to expand within Australia and Overseas.

I can give more details to someone seriously considering investing in the second most traded commodity in the world.

Cheers

Hi

I have found one article from Hong Kong Trade Development Council which may be interesting you.

Coffee houses like Starbucks and Caffe Bene are multiplying in South Korea, with some 12 branded chains running about 2,000 outlets. Of these, some 500 were opened throughout the country since the end of last year.

Starbucks opened 27 new locations in the eight months to August for a total of 318 outlets. Angel-in-us Coffee followed closely with 311 branches, of which 103 opened in 2009 and 80 more this year.
Most chains intend to add 30 to 50 more locations by the end of 2010 and ambitious newcomer Caffe Bene - which opened 270 outlets since its launch in April 2008 - plans to open 100 more branches by the end of the year.
Industry representatives say such growth is possible because coffee houses provide a space "to be" rather than just to sit for a cup of coffee. They cite the coining of a new word, "coffice", which combines "coffee" with "office". The coffee shop is a place to work, study and socialise.
However, South Koreans also love their coffee; according to one study there are more than 300,000 coffee vending machines in the country. But it's coffee houses that are really bubbling in sales.

According to one report Gunsan City, on the banks of the Geum River, has a number of Bucks outlets unconnected with other logos. As well as coffee it also serves beer and shows popular Korean and American movies all day.
Further north, it's possible to buy an espresso in the restaurant Blue Opera, located just outside Osan Air Base in Pyeongtaek, while closer to Seoul there are roadside stops featuring Maxwell House coffee bars.
In Seoul there are Italian-style coffee shops such as Pascucci in the Insadong-il district, which serves caramel cappuccino and three-layer cake.
In the Itaewon district there are many coffee shops to choose from, but the best include Hello Beans, which features lattes and rich tiramisu. Hello Beans offers hot chocolates and cold tea drinks as well.
At nearby Sandpresso, there is a selection of sandwiches and other snacks, proving that coffee is also a conduit for all kinds of delicacies and snacks.
