Does luck really play a part in success? Is it really true that in order for you to have that big break you have to have a certain amount of luck?

If that were true, then doesn’t that mean only a few of us are ever going to succeed? And even then we won’t know when?

I have often talked to other entrepreneurs about luck and whether it actually plays a part in success, most entrepreneurs will disagree and say that in order for you to be successful, you have to have a burning desire, determination and passion, whereas non-entrepreneur types will usually say the only way to be successful and wealthy is by sheer luck..

So then.. what is luck, do we need it to be successful, should we rely on it to be successful? Or should we plan for success and if luck plays a part then all the better!?

You need to make opportunities for yourself, think outside the square. Nothing happens for those who wait.

Some people get lucky but most of those who rise to success is by a calculated plan. That does not mean they know what they're doing at first but they don't sit on their lazy butts eating chips and trying to run a couple sites hoping to become the next John Chow. They think outside of the box. And most often than none people think they're crazy until they succeed.
