Has anyone used the services of uSocial.net?
For those who don't already know, uSocial are an Australian mob who sell Facebook fans and Twitter followers etc.
I'd had an eye on them for a while, and yesterday finally decided to take the plunge and buy 1,000 Facebook fans for my business site. They can target fans based on location and keywords, so I figured if I could get 1,000 Aussie fans with words relating to tradies in their profiles, that would be a nice boost to my Facebook presence.
Anyway, I went through the whole order process and made payment, only to receive an email from them today stating that they can't target Australian Facebook users! So basically it's of no use to me...
I had expected to have to fight for my refund, but I'm happy to report that they refunded my payment straight away.
So yeah, I was pretty annoyed that I wasn't told before purchasing that they couldn't target Aussie users (especially since they're an Australian based business!) but pleasantly surprised at the ease of getting a refund.
Just wondering if any one else here has used them (or considered it) and what your experiences were?
